Yes, there is. At Phuket Dive Center, we offer various scuba diving courses. Discover Scuba Diving is the perfect course for beginners. In order to be eligible for taking this course, you need to be over 10 years old and know basic swimming. A good physical condition is also important. At Phuket Dive Center, you will learn the basic safety guidelines and skills you need. Then you will be able to dive with a PADI professional. You will learn about the scuba equipment, how to wear them and move around with them. You will also find out what it is like to breathe underwater and learn the key skills of scuba diving.
The duration of the diving course for beginners is only one day. After meeting at our dive center you will be taken to the dive boat. On the boat, you will be assigned to your dive instructor. They will teach you about your gear and the basic information you need while you are diving; such as emergency and other communication signs, how to dive into the water, how to preserve the air and keep time, how to move to lower and higher levels with minimum effort, emptying your mask and regulator, and so much more. All of our dive instructors are well trained and have years of experience. You’ll be in good hands.
Once you accomplish 2 dives, you will earn your certificate. Your dives will be entered into your PADI dive journal. You will keep this journal for future dives, not only here at Phuket Dive Center, anywhere in the world. PADI is the most respected and most sought-after scuba diving certification in the world. You will come as a beginner and leave with your first and very valuable certificate.
